MISSION
Our goal is to create innovative propulsion systems for land, marine, and air vehicles with high efficiency and low environmental impact. We develop environmentally friendly thrusters with electric and fuel cell technology powered by hydrogen gas for niche and prototype markets. We provide scientific and engineering advice to support the implementation of projects for the green economy and the development of alternative systems.
RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT
Dolomitech is engaged in:
- research activities in the field of power electronics, components for electrical and fuel cell systems ;
- development activities of auxiliary and complete systems for Fuel Cell Systems;
- acquisition of instrumentation and equipment to date secured through collaborations with qualified companies in the field and national research centers.

- the development of auxiliary systems for fuel cell thrusters powered by hydrogen gas (digital pressure reducers, air compressors, storage systems);
- the design and development of electronic components;
- the study and complete design of electric and gaseous hydrogen thrusters;

Who we are
Dolomitech is a company founded in Trentino in 2010 with the aim of developing and commercializing advanced eco-friendly propulsion systems: electric and fuel cell propulsion systems powered by hydrogen gas. It started with a team of physicists, engineers and technicians with proven experience in the field of Fuel Cells and the development of innovative powertrains (electric and hydrogen) for vehicles, buses and special applications.

Our experience at your service
Over the years, the Dolomitech team has focused on the analysis of Fuel Cell powertrains, the study and definition of different electrical architectures, the development of various types of hydrogen storage, the design and realization of Fuel Cell prototypes in co-design (definition of the electrolyte and fluid-dynamic pathways, choice of cylinder heads and catalysts,...) and the realization of complete traction systems. Fuel Cell System and complete vehicle control strategy topics were addressed.
Dolomitech has designed and developed alternative propulsion systems for public and private clients:
- 2010: first order for the development of a 30 kW Fuel Cell generator;
- 2011-2013: new order for a generator suitable for wheel loaders and order from Trentino Trasporti for two "Fuel Cell Dominant" minibuses delivered for the Nordic Skiing World Championships in Val di Fiemme;
- 2014: order from CNR for a Fuel Cell urban minibus delivered to Capo d'Orlando;
- 2015-2018: order from Alilaguna - Cantieri Vizianello for the supply of a "Fuel Cell System Propulsion" complete with hydrogen storage for one boat and the supply of Electric Kits for the hybridization of two other boats;
- 2019-2020: new GAP order for the realization of an Electric Kit for 40-ton wheel loader.
